Ferreiras is located halfway between Ciutadella y Maó, surrounded by mountains and pine and oak forests. Fantastic tours leave from here towards the Algendar precipice or towards the north side, to the Santa Águeda Castle.

From the urban center, going through the main highway from Maó to Ciutadella, we can take the road towards Cala Galdana -the only touristic urban development of its municipality- which also takes us to Es Migjorn. Ferreries has a traditional furniture and shoe industry, very attractive for visitors.
Mid-August, the Sant Bartomeu holiday is celebrated, where the main element is the horse and the donkey. This makes these festivities fun and very pleasant.
