Sa Mesquida Menorca
Sa Mesquida is a traditional core of Mao, located about 5 miles of it on the north coast of Menorca. According to the census, home to about 70 people, although many more than they do in the summer. The cove of Sa Mesquida, is flanked by Gros and Sa Pa Sa Punta Creueta, also includes the urban core, and s'Arenal s'Arenal Great Petit. In the middle of the twentieth century there were about thirty houses occupied mostly by indigenous people. Urbanization has grown, the houses have been renovated, but retains all the fishing environment and old summer colony, with an entity and characteristics. Some residents living in Sa Mesquida all year, and there is also a neighborhood association, which highlights their key activities of the organization known as Fiestas de Sa Mesquida. Las fiestas de Sa Mesquida take place the first or second week of August usually.
