S'Arenal de / d'en Castell is a semi-urban beach, considered one of the most beautiful places on the north coast of Menorca, close to the urbanization of the same name, some of its buildings go up the coastline, located between Raconada d'es Forats and Llautanies countries. This coastal corner is nine kilometers and 13 kilometers is Mercadal Alaior.

sea inlet is characterized by an almost circular, huge dimensions, the beach is sandy, low in the surrounding vegetation, a natural rock entrance and narrow, an orientation toward the northeast, a moderate swell and by being partially surrounded by residential housing.

marine and underwater conditions are suitable for anchoring boats, since it has a good size, has sufficient depth and presents a very protected anchorage (the most common is usually located in the east).

This beach is part of a larger bay, flanked by the ends and Taronger Codola. In the margin Codola Punta defended by a number of dangerous pitfalls (Escull Gros, Esculls d'en Truyol and Escull of s'Ofegas) that the navigator should avoid when setting course for s'Arenal d'en Castell. If it exceeds the natural breakwater of Punta Taronger will be found a small sea inlet, L-shaped, which is sheltered from all winds, except from the air masses from the north, becoming an alternative mooring nearby.
